My name is Jennifer Reid, my students call me Miss Jennifer. I am a Kinderdance® Franchisee and a Certified Early Childhood Movement Specialist. I am blessed to have owned and operated Kinderdance® of Alamo City since 2004!

I was born and raised in Texas, and am proud to have called San Antonio my home since 1978! I love living and working in South Texas because the weather is great, the people are so nice and there is such a hometown feel.

I have been married for 25+ years to a wonderful man and we have three beautiful children. Throughout my childhood I enjoyed dance and consider myself very blessed to have the best “job” in the whole wide world! One of my proudest moments was watching my daughter dance in her first Kinderdance® Recital. I started this business because I wanted to work with children and see that look on their faces when they accomplish something they were working so hard to learn.

I really believe that teaching dance to your children is more than just teaching movement and positions, but teaching them lessons that will take them through life such as self-esteem, confidence, and fun ways to learn new skills. Teaching them that learning can be fun, and should be fun!

What are the Kinderdance® Programs?

All Kinderdance® programs blend age appropriate educational concepts with many forms of movement and dance.  The programs help develop dance and gross motor skills, mind/body movement creativity, fitness and body awareness.  Each is taught using lesson plans and age appropriate music and songs.

Children learn how to play while they learn how to dance.
